OUR SCULPTOR

SEAN HEDGES-QUINN

In Sean Hedges-Quinn we have had, on this fantastic almost 2 year journey,
not only the best sporting statue sculptor it is possible to have got but
someone who has been a friend to us all and an integral part of how we
have reached our dream.

He has given us advice where it was needed and at times has had to tap us
on our shoulders to put us right where perhaps we were blindly going wrong.

His talent is undoubted and as a football fan himself he has also been
genuinely interested in Chris’ story. This can clearly be seen by his attention
to detail on the amazing tribute he has built to a man he feels he has come
to know.

We as a committee would like to express our massive thanks to Sean for his
commitment to what all those months ago when we first got in touch with him
seemed something other, bigger clubs did and not little old POSH. He put us
straight at ease that this could be done and how right he was.

We are delighted to welcome Sean, his lovely wife Hayley and delightful
children Niamh, Joseph and Ryan to the unveiling today and know they will
get a warm POSH welcome.

If of course you’d like to discuss our 7-1 victory over Ipswich with Sean he
would no doubt be delighted.

Once again Sean, thank you very much.
